1. Dressing Manner
First of all, Interviewer judges you by your dressing sense. Dressing is the first impression, so, don’t wear funky cloths as it looks very casual. You can easily stand out by wearing your best suit/shirt or black dress for the ladies.
2. Confident
Be confident in front of interviewer. If you continuously biting your nails or chewing your pen, you are bound to give of the impression of nervousness. So, avoid such things. Present your idea with full confidence and remain calm at the time you are presenting your idea.
3. Eye Contact
Having a good eye contact between you and interviewer shows that you are trustworthy and engaged in a topic and also it shows your sincerity. However, to avoid constantly looking into the interviewer’s eyes, the most effective way to stay engaged is to look different parts of someone’s face every two seconds, rotating from eyes, to nose, to lips. It will help you a lot at the time of interview. Remember one thing, when you are in panel interviews, make sure you look at everybody, but you need to focus on the person who is asking you question or speaking at that time
4. Positive Manner
Don’t be afraid to show your interest for the job or express your eagerness for the role through your body language. When interviewer asked a question during your presentation, ensure that answer the question in a
positive and confident manner. Your answers should be direct and to the point. Avoid partial and unclear answers and make sure that you don’t deviate from the point of discussion.
5. Hand Movements
Use your hand for better communication between you and interviewer. This will make you appear balanced and calm. Go ahead and let your hands move as you speak. Blocking natural actions might lead to an awkward appearance. Just make sure not to get too excited.
6. Head Nodding
Always nod your head when you are listening to Interviewer as it is an excellent gesture which shows your sincerity. It makes the interviewer believe that you are paying complete attention to and understanding
exactly what they are saying. If you are not one of those people who do this naturally, pay attention to opportunities to nod. Be careful though, nodding too much loses its effect, as with anything you do too repetitively.
7. Sitting Posture
Good posture at the time of interview is very important as it seen as a sign of intelligence, composure and credibility. Sit properly and lean your back straight against the chair. Lean forward from the waist as this will give a good appearance that you are interested in what they are saying. Make a proper effort to have a good posture.
8. Handshake
Have a firm handshake like you are already an officer as it shows the sign of bonding and confidence. When offering your hand, turn your palm slightly up so that your interviewer’s hand can cover yours properply. Go
for a good handshake accompanied by a brief eye contact and smile.
9. Smile
Smile is a smart body gesture which shows positivity and a sign of positive manner. A genuine, honest smile is the best remedy to any embarrassing situation. To make your situation comfortable and give interviewer a
reason to believe in your idea, you need to smile. Smile when you meet interviewer and after saying goodbye to interviewer.
10. Mirror Interviewer
Mirroring the interviewer can be a very strong technique. Mirroring means aligning your body’s position to that of your interviewer’s. Through mirroring you can quickly get on good terms with your interviewer. So make sure to match their posture and body language.

Well I go by one philosophy, Its Attitude that Matters. I look for positive attitude in a person. I believe we can teach a person with a right attitude but it cannot be vice-versa. So my recruitment mantra is “Attitude First, Knowledge Second”
