What’s it really like?
I’ve always adored working with people, so retail is the perfect industry for me. I began as a Retail Associate and worked my way up from there. The best thing about being a Store Manager is building an enthusiastic team around you, and the satisfaction you get from happy and delighted customers is incredible. It can be distressing, and it’s a big responsibility, however, in the event that you’re looking for a fast-paced and rewarding career, I’d definitely recommend a career in Retail Management.
