Recently I saw “CBS This Morning” interview with Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn on YouTube through which I got information and inspiration to share how you can make most of the LinkedIn to get a job in no time.
The issue is that people just keep updating their profile now and then which makes no point as you’re not completely using what all LinkedIn can accomplish for you, which includes removing hours from your job search. It’s not just your experiences; this is not a resume …This is a more dynamic approach to representing your experiences, your skills, your objectives, what you know, what you’re interested in within a professional context,” Weiner explained. “It’s not just about the comprehensiveness; it’s also about the freshness of the information and more the completeness of the information whatever has been updated.”

These are the 10 actions you can take to leverage LinkedIn for maximum efficiency in securing your next job or your first job in your favorite company. Follow these tips on how to leverage LinkedIn, and you’ll be employed soon:
- Keep your profile updated. LinkedIn users with a profile picture are most likely to get page visits as compared to the users who post only skills. There are more than 45,000 skills to choose from on LinkedIn to augment your profile, so if you want your dream company to notice you, make a point to simply update your profile, include a profile photograph, and incorporate your striking skills.
- Be comprehensive about current skills and objectives. To make sure you’re utilizing LinkedIn to get a new job, don’t forget to update anything about your present skills and objectives. Share your main objective on your headline and add the entirety of your skills to your page. You don’t want it to appear as if you haven’t updated your profile in some time, as recruiters and companies may visit your profile anytime.
