“Each person reaching to the point of zenith in their lives be it any field whether they are actors, business tycoons, authors etc. have a common point among them which is that they are in love with their jobs and have a fire within them to achieve everything in their field whether they are paid for it or not.”
It’s a common adage but is also certainly true that when you love what you do, you feel invigorated and pepped up. You perform your job with full zeal and try your level best to achieve them, you are full of inspiration which constantly helps you reaching your smallest destinations.
The problem arises when you perform your job just for the sake of your living, just doing it to earn money and not for your mental satisfaction which implies that you are not passionate about your job. It may mean you hate your job and want to run away from it. But what if you cannot run away? What if you can’t quit? So what if you want to be an actor a dancer, or want to travel the world but your job wouldn’t allow you to do so. You are bound to perform it and be there no matter if you think you don’t belong there.
There are some tips that you may practice if you find yourself in such position.
- Soul Searching:
This would be a bonzer if you self-scrutinize yourself and find something worth performing this activity. Take a deep insight of yourself and find out do you always have a problem of dissatisfaction in whatever you do in your life? Do you always blame others for hardships in your life? Is it something else disturbing you and affecting your work performance? If this is the case you need to be happier in your life, more optimistic in your approaches. This in turn would bring you ample of opportunities which you would appreciate. - Change your perception towards your job:
It is obvious that you would be in search of more and more reasons to leave your job rather than finding a single reason to stay. Find out if your job has given you a new skill, a good friend or a co-worker. Do they provide you with good food or have made you learn how to avoid obnoxious tittle-tattle. Have your job ever made you bite a bullet which has made you stronger inside out? Yes we do take things for granted however giving these things acknowledgement would make you appreciate your job. - Try to accept changes :
People who accept changes and are dynamic are welcomed in every kind of environment. It is also mature enough to be easygoing and nonjudgmental rather than identifying storm in a teacup. These changes could bother you but in a long run they may help you in your betterment and may also increase your job performance. So it is better to ignore trivial issues and just go with the flow - Explore all avenues:
“This shall pass” a saying you must focus on when you are overburdened with your work and rather should focus on the wider scenario in which you find yourself in utopia of immense satisfaction which collectively holds all your happiness related to professional success. This practice of law of attraction helps you come closer towards your goals and to build up a brighter perspective towards your end goals. - Never stop learning:
You may have a lot on your plate but it is no harm in fetching new things out of it to wider your imagination and learning. You can always choose tobe a people’s person or to have exceptional social skills and plethora of knowledge. Always try to grab opportunities that naturally come to you and set yourself up to be a better professional by each passing second.
If you feel that you are the only one suffering from dissatisfaction of job
then you are surely not alone. There are people suffering with much more
annoyance due to their bellicose bosses, bullies working in disguise of co-
workers with them, and their assuaging jobs. Start experimenting yourself
into situations which will help you explore a new ‘You’, drop the thought of
giving up, welcome challenges, face them, know your worth and after a
passage of time you would find yourself hitting a home run.
